BIOTA IRON 5%
Biota Iron is based on lignosulphonic acid and part of our liquid biological single fertilizer line. Due to the unique production process, the nutrients are 100% present in the solution and can therefore be taken up directly by the plant. The product is fully made from plant-based materials and certified for use in organic agri- and horticulture. The ingredients are partly sourced from agricultural waste. Due to the natural origin, the nutrient content may vary.
Biota Iron is used for prevention and correction of iron chlorosis under all types of conditions, including calcareous and alkaline. You first notice iron deficiency in the top of the plant. The leaves turn yellow, while the veins remain green. This is because iron is an immobile element. This means that once it is fixed, iron can no longer be distributed further in the plant. Eventually, the older leaves and smaller veins in the leaves also turn yellow. The plant growth slowly stops.
